pc/MRP RELEASES 7.80 VERSION

New 32 Bit Screens Added To 7.80

pc/MRP Version 7.80 adds new 32 bit windows to Purchasing, Receiving, Sales (shown above), Invoicing, Sales Quote, Purchase Request, Accounting and reports.   Many of the new screens have new drop down list boxes to make data entry faster and easier.

Ordering Information for Update

Registered owners of pc/MRP can update to version 7.80 for $600.00.   This includes 1 year of technical support (6-hr cap).  To order the update call Software Arts 408-226-7321.

PDF Added To pc/MRP 7.80

pc/MRP version 7.80 users can easily email purchase orders, invoices, reports, etc with the PDF document automatically attached to the email.  In addition, sending a report to PDF allows the user to display the PDF report, click on the Find Icon and find every instance of a word or character string.

Mean Time Between Failures Added

pc/MRP version 7.80 will automatically calculate  mean time between failure for 1 or all assemblies based on the reliability factor of each part.

 
 

New pc/MRP Slide Show

Software Arts has created a series of training slide shows that can be run at any time by logging on   www.pcmrpw.com and clicking on the MRP 101 button.   New employees can be trained on pc/MRP by letting them click through these training slides and movies.

Transition to new Support Plan

Due to the difficulty of supporting multiple versions of pc/MRP, we are bundling the 7.80 update with a new 1yr/6hr cap support plan for $600.00.   We will continue to support users who have outstanding support time until their support time runs out.  Once their support time runs out, users must purchase the new update and support plan if they wish to receive support in the future.  We will credit back unused support time (at the price paid) for users who want to update and get on the new support plan.

pc/MRP's Optional $225.00 Bulk Email Module

pc/MRP' New Optional Bulk Email Module allows you to email news letters, brochures, notices, etc. to customers, vendors, and employees directly from your pc/MRP address book at a fraction of the cost of mailing or faxing.

Pressing the Purge Address List and Reload Button allows you to create a new set of email addresses for all addresses or from one or more address types contained in your pc/MPRP address book.

Colorful Brochures and/or Newsletters containing pictures and various size fonts can be created in HTML. Simply browse and locate the HTML file with the Message File … Button. Use the "Messages To Send" spinner button to select how many Newsletters or brochures you wish to send each night.

 

pc/MRP's Optional $225.00 Employee/Time Sheet Module

pc/MRP's Optional Employee/Time Sheet Module runs $225.00 and contains the following advanced features.

·         Accounting can create and manage employee records for pay rates, date hired, vacation hours, sick hours, state, and federal withholding $ amounts.

·         Accounting and or individuals can create and manage employee time sheets.

·         Accounting can print out actual labor hours and costs for a sales/work order from the time sheet report module.

 

ROUTING MODULE $225.00
pc/MRP's Routing Module contains the following advanced features:

 

·  Up to 25 user definable work areas.

·  Issuing parts to manufacturing for a sales/work order automatically creates a routing record.

·  Moving product into the finished goods area automatically increments the onhand quantity of finished goods and decrements. WIP quantities

 

pc/MRP's Optional $225.00 Inspection Module

pc/MRP's Inspection Module allows users to create global inspection requirement by:

·         Editing a part or assembly

·         Clicking on the Inspection Criteria button

·         Specifying when an inspection record will be created and displayed (received, manufactured, invoiced or shipped)

·         Specifying what criteria will be used to inspect it.

·         View, edit and print inspection records.

·         Print and or display inspection reports.

 

pc/MRP's Optional $225.00 Advanced Password Module

·  The advanced password module allows an unlimited number of user name and password combinations to control access rights (delete, enter, edit, view only or no access) to each pc/MRP module.

·  Users can change their own passwords by selecting Optional, Passwords and Change password of current user.

·  Users must have Delete Rights to re-index files for that module.

·  Only users with Delete Rights to the Password Module can activate pc/MRP's Command Line.

 

pc/MRP's Optional $295.00 Infinite Bucket Module/Visual Time Line Reports

pc/MRP's Infinite Bucket Module allows the user to generate an mrp and print out or display action item reports. Action item reports consist of Onhand, PO, Buy, Issue, Make and Sale action items. The action item reports can be sorted by part number, sales and work order number, starting date, ending date, buyer code, etc.

In the Visual Time Line report shown on the right, ten bearings (pn 000000010) must be ordered on 1/3/02, issued on 1/6/02, assembled and sold by 1/09/02 for sales order 000101.

Additional advanced features are listed below:

·  Sales Quotes with probabilities can be included when generating an MRP.

·  Push Pull Reports recommends date due changes and or cancelation of existing purchase orders.

·  Consolidated Reports provide summarized action item reports for daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly periods.

·  Buyer Codes sort and select options have been added to the Infinite Bucket reports.

·  Consumable work orders can be used to fill customer sales orders.

·  Purchase Orders can be created automatically.

·  Visual Time Line Reports as shown above can be displayed and printed

·  Issued Shortage Report displays all current stockroom transactions that are short.

·  Pre Shortage Report displays all PO and Buy action items with push pull dates.

 

MULTI-CURRENCY MODULE $225.00
The Alternate Currency Module allows users to view costs and selling prices in an infinite number of alternate currencies. It adds the option to print out quotes, sales orders, purchase orders and invoices in both the base currency and alternate currency.

SALES ANALYSIS MODULE $225.00
Sales Analysis Module contains programs that will:

·  Set min/max levels based on sales history

·  Provide sales trends over 4 defined time periods

·  Provide book to bill reports

·  Print out consolidated (one level) BOMs

SERIAL/LOT NUMBER MODULE $225.00
pc/MRP's optional Serial/Lot Number module will track and store serial/lot numbers. Entering receivers or building an assembly will allow you to assign serial/lot numbers. Issuing to mfg or invoicing will allow you to select from a list of serial/lot numbers for that part.

BAR CODE FONT MODULE $149.00
pc/MRP 3of 9 Barcode Option consists of a 3of9 True Type Barcode Font allowing users to use pc/MRP's Report generator to add 3of9 bar codes to pc/MRP forms, labels and reports.

PO REQUEST MODULE $225.00
The Purchase Request/Quote Module creates, edits, and prints out purchase requests and purchase requests for quotes from a vendor. Purchase requests can be automatically converted into purchase orders.

SALES QUOTE MODULE $225.00
pc/MRP's Sales Quote Module creates, edits, and prints out sales quotes. In addition, it will automatically convert sales quotes to sales orders if you receive the order.

ECN MODULE $225.00
The Engineering Change Notice Module creates, edits, and prints out ECNs and ECN Reports. In addition, it will also print out ECN reports that notify purchasing of which POs with part numbers that are affected by ECNs issued in the last 30 days.
