pc/MRP RELEASES 7.70 VERSION

Visual MRP Time Line Report

pc/MRP Version 7.70 continues its strong support for the new Visual MRP Time Line Report originaly released with version 7.60. The above Visual Time Line report would be available to users who presently own pc/MRP's Optional Infinite Bucket Module. Users who do not own the Infinite Bucket Module would have to purchase both the Infinite Bucket Module ($295.00) and the upgrade to pc/MRP version 7.70 ($300.00). In the example shown above, ten bearings (pn 000000010) must be ordered on 1/3/02, issued on 1/6/02, assembled and sold by 1/09/02 for sales order 000101.

Ordering Information for Update

Registered owners of pc/MRP can update to version 7.70 for $300.00. Companies that presently own version 7.60 and pc/MRP's optional QuickBooks Module can get the update to version 7.70 for free. To order the update to version 7.70, call Software Arts at 408-226-7321.

New QuickBooks Interface Module $295

As of version 7.70 pc/MRP's Optional QuickBooks Interface Module integrates directly with QuickBooks and no longer requires exporting and importing of IIF files to export pc/MRP's invoices and receivers to QuickBooks.

For example, in the above pc/MRP inventory screen, you can select QuickBooks accounts that should be debited or credited in the event this part is invoiced or received. The accounts listed in the drop down list boxes are legitimate QuickBooks accounts straight from your current QuickBooks account list.

pc/MRP's Optional QuickBooks Module 7.70 requires you update your copy of QuickBooks to QuickBooks Pro 2003 or QuickBooks Premiere 2003.

 
 

pc/MRP Audio Visual Training CDs are now available for $295.00

  • PC Trainer is an innovative new training tool for use with pc/MRP. Developed by Desert View and Software Arts, the CD provides an audiovisual training guide for pc/MRP.

    The CD set is focused on training new personnel as well as providing a refresher for those who may already be skilled in the use of pc/MRP. Users can actually watch the key strokes and mouse movements on their screen while the narrator enters a PO, create a BOM, issue a sales order to manufacturing, etc.

    There are CD sets available for both the 16-bit and 32-bit version of pc/MRP.

    pc/MRP's Optional $225.00 Bulk Email Module

    pc/MRP' New Optional Bulk Email Module allows you to email news letters, brochures, notices, etc. to customers, vendors, and employees directly from your pc/MRP address book at a fraction of the cost of mailing or faxing.

    Pressing the Purge Address List and Reload Button allows you to create a new set of email addresses for all addresses or from one or more address types contained in your pc/MPRP address book.

    Colorful Brochures and or Newsletters containing pictures and various size fonts can be created in HTML. Simply browse and locate the HTML file with the Message File … Button. Use the "Messages To Send" spinner button to select how many Newsletters or brochures you wish to send each night.

    pc/MRP's Optional $225.00 Employee/Time Sheet Module

    pc/MRP's Optional Employee/Time Sheet Module runs $225.00 and contains the following advanced features.

    • Accounting can create and manage employee records for pay rates, date hired, vacation hours, sick hours, state, and federal withholding $ amounts.
    • Accounting and or individuals can create and manage employee time sheets.
    • Accounting can print out actual labor hours and costs for a sales/work order from the time sheet report module.

    ROUTING MODULE $225.00
    pc/MRP's Routing Module contains the following advanced features:

  • Up to 25 user definable work areas.
  • Issuing parts to manufacturing for a sales/work order automatically creates a routing record.

    pc/MRP's Inspection Module allows users to create global inspection requirement by:

    • View, edit and print inspection records.

    pc/MRP's Optional $225.00 Advanced Password Module

  • The advanced password module allows an unlimited number of user name and password combinations to control access rights (delete, enter, edit, view only or no access) to each pc/MRP module.
  • Users can change their own passwords by selecting Optional, Passwords and Change password of current user.
  • Users must have Delete Rights to re-index files for that module.
  • Only users with Delete Rights to the Password Module can activate pc/MRP's Command Line.

    • pc/MRP's Optional $295.00 Infinite Bucket Module/Visual Time Line Reports

    pc/MRP's Infinite Bucket Module allows the user to generate an mrp and print out or display action item reports. Action item reports consist of Onhand, PO, Buy, Issue, Make and Sale action items. The action item reports can be sorted by part number, sales and work order number, starting date, ending date, buyer code, etc.

  • Pre Shortage Report displays all PO and Buy action items with push pull dates.

    • MULTI-CURRENCY MODULE $225.00
    The Alternate Currency Module allows users to view costs and selling prices in an infinite number of alternate currencies. It adds the option to print out quotes, sales orders, purchase orders and invoices in both the base currency and alternate currency.

    SALES ANALYSIS MODULE $225.00
    Sales Analysis Module contains programs that will:

  • Set min/max levels based on sales history
  • Provide sales trends over 4 defined time periods
  • Provide book to bill reports
  • Print out consolidated (one level) BOMs

    SERIAL/LOT NUMBER MODULE $225.00
    pc/MRP's optional Serial/Lot Number module will track and store serial/lot numbers. Entering receivers or building an assembly will allow you to assign serial/lot numbers. Issuing to mfg or invoicing will allow you to select from a list of serial/lot numbers for that part.

    BAR CODE FONT MODULE $149.00
    pc/MRP 3of 9 Barcode Option consists of a 3of9 True Type Barcode Font allowing users to use pc/MRP's Report generator to add 3of9 bar codes to pc/MRP forms, labels and reports.

    The Purchase Request/Quote Module creates, edits, and prints out purchase requests and purchase requests for quotes from a vendor. Purchase requests can be automatically converted into purchase orders.

    SALES QUOTE MODULE $225.00
    pc/MRP's Sales Quote Module creates, edits, and prints out sales quotes. In addition, it will automatically convert sales quotes to sales orders if you receive the order.

    ECN MODULE $225.00
    The Engineering Change Notice Module creates, edits, and prints out ECNs and ECN Reports. In addition, it will also print out ECN reports that notify purchasing of which POs with part numbers that are affected by ECNs issued in the last 30 days.
