pc/MRP is Running Slow

17.10 pc/MRP is too slow.

· Try disabling your virus checker or disable it for "Running programs".

· Reduce the number of network protocols used in your network. If you do have multiple protocols and NetBeui is one of them, install it first as Windows will use it first and it is one of the faster protocols

· If your workstation is a Windows NT workstation and your primary TCP/IP, the report screens will pull up slowly.

· Reduce screen colors to 256.

· Remove any screen savers.

· If you are using Windows Terminal Server for your server and pc/MRP version 7.50 or higher, insert the

· following line BITMAP=OFF into the config.fpw file using notepad.
